Reporting to the Department Manager; Human Resources the Human Resource Executive (Operational) will have responsibilities in the following areas:
Development and maintenance of recruitment policies and staff retention initiatives.
Deliver the resourcing requirements according to the annual recruitment plan for all departments, i.e. Admin, Engineering, Quality and Production.
Manage the recruitment team in all aspects of the R&S process - PSL, Assessment Centre, Contract Preparation etc.
Ensure R&S systems are updated, accurate and maintained on an ongoing basis and to identify trends that need to be highlighted.
Ensure HR governance and controls are maintained. e.g. HR file management, probation management, confidentiality.
Responsible for carrying out exit interviews and generating reports on findings.
To assistance in the continuous improvement of personnel policies and procedures, work instructions and Company Handbook.
Manage all Employee Relations issue with Company Doctor.
Manage Employee Relations issues including Probation Management Meeting, Coachings and Disciplinary Meetings while working closely with all departments.
Manage the payroll and benefits function.
Cooperation in development and provision of above services in a shared services environment to provide support for group companies if required.
To assist and cross train in the other HR related areas as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
A third level degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
A CIPD qualification or be working towards CIPD membership.
At least 5 years operating at a HR Generalist level, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
This brief demands excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to keep up to date with HR policies and procedures and a demonstrated knowledge of employment law is important to maintain an effective advisory service.
