We are currently recruiting a Buyer to join our expanding Logistics team. The role will involve development and implementation of purchasing strategies, the planning and control of inventories, and the day-to-day management of suppliers for the site. The Buyer will also be responsible for ensuring maintenance of the MRP system integrity and the monitoring of inventory stock/obsolescence. Candidates should hold a relevant third level qualification in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing. They should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement, negotiation and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and communication skills. A Proactive, customer focused approach is essential for this demanding position. A good knowledge of an ERP System and MS Office is also required. Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices Industry would be a distinct advantage. This position is initially available as a 2 year contract and will be subject to review |
