Main Areas of Responsibility
· Involvement in the design and development of the company’s products and technologies · Aid specification and planning of new product modules and features · Maintenance of high quality programming standards · Mentoring of junior team members · Performance of developer module testing · Assist in production of developer level documentation · Tracking industry developments and standards and implementing these into the companies technologies

Experience & Qualifications · BSc Computer Science or related discipline · At least 4 years software development experience · At least 2 years experience with Java · Previous experience in Hibernate, Spring & JSF in a UNIX environment · Knowledge of the following is also desirable: Oracle, Ant, JUnit, Linux, Solaris, J2EE, EJB, mySQL
Personal Attributes & Competencies · Ability to work within deadlines and as part of a team · Excellent problem solving skills · Internet Application development · Knowledge of internet standards · System design and implementation · Database design and implementation an advantage · Must possess excellent English oral, written and presentational skills; · Must be self-motivated
