Currently undergoing a prolonged period of expansion - driven by continuous high demand for our products - our client is actively recruiting a Shipping Administrator for their Logistics Department.
Due to an expanding number of export markets, we have a new temporary vacancy for a Shipping Administrator. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will work cross-functionally, and with Head Office in Paris, to ensure on-time delivery to our customers. Responsibilities will include sales order processing, the co-ordination of shipments, liaising with freight companies and the issuing of documentation to the Warehouse team.
A pro-active approach is needed for this demanding role. Excellent attention to detail and a proven track record in effective customer support are essential. Strong co-ordination skills and the ability to prioritise workload are vital. The ability to recognise areas for improvement and to deliver solutions is also required.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a customer service or supply chain role. Strong I.T. skills are essential. Familiarity with an ERP system and possession of a Business qualification would be desirable. Knowledge of documentation for Middle Eastern markets would also be a distinct advantage.
