The successful applicant will work as part of the Technical Rapids team to carry out all daily duties, as scheduled by the Supervisor, according to cGMP/cGLP and Quality Systems at the company in order to meet the agreed master production schedule. They will work to key metrics in Health & Safety, Quality/Compliance, Customer Service (internal and external) and Cost. 

 

They will be responsible to ensure daily manufacture and testing of all Technical Rapids material/product, ensuring it is carried out in an accurate and efficient manner as scheduled by the Supervisor and in line with all relevant company policies and procedures.

 

They will highlight any issues which may lead to failure in quality or failure of product to meet the required specifications.

 

They must be able to demonstrate a proactive approach towards identifying and resolving issues which may impact the schedule or quality of product.

 

They will also have the responsibility for revising documentation as required and recommend improvements where appropriate, as well as working effectively to build productive relationships with other functional groups within the company.

 

Education and Experience

 

·        Preferably a degree in a life science with extensive lab experience.

·        Preferably at least one (1) years industrial experience in the production/quality control of in vitro diagnostic or similar products.

·        Understanding of production operations, quality assurance/control and cGMP/GLP requirements.

·        To show a high level of care and attention to all aspects of the role and show a desire to achieve excellence through own initiative.

·        Capable of working individually or as part of a multi-functional team including peers and/or supervisors.
